The Lodge
We are a small lodge located on the seafront of Puerto Natales, and we are only 1,200 meters from the town center, which you can easily reach on foot along a beautiful waterfront promenade, home to swans and wild ducks.
When we designed the lodge, we envisioned a charming place within a family atmosphere where travelers from different parts of the world could find a place to rest, enjoy stunning views, and savor delicious food. We named the lodge Weskar, which means “hill” in the Kawésqar language, the native canoeing people of the Chilean Patagonian fjords. Its location on this gentle hill and its proximity to the sea allow us to enjoy privileged views of the fjord and the mountains.
Weskar Lodge was built using Lenga wood, a tree native to the region. Its walls are decorated with handwoven wool tapestries made by the founder’s mother and with photographs taken over the years, which seek to showcase the incredible beauty of the place and convey the landscapes and impressive views the lodge offers.
