Weskar Lodge offers its guests concierge service, transportation from the airport, booking of tours and different services, allowing independent travelers to design their own programs according to their own interests, time, and money. The lodge has an office of operations in Punta Arenas, Puerto Natales (the lodge), and operative assistance in El Calafate (Argentina). The following are descriptions of the most popular tours and their prices:

1. CLASSIC TORRES DEL PAINE TOUR


It is possible to tour Torres del Paine National Park in one full day. The distance to the northern park entrance is approximately 100 kilometers, stopping briefly along the way in the village of Cerro Castillo, then entering the park via the Laguna Amarga entrance. From the road one can see the Paine mountain range, highlights of which include the Torres, Mount Almirante Nieto, the Cuernos del Paine and Mount Paine Grande. The tour affords beautiful views of a series of turquoise lakes and lagoons as well as a short hike to the waterfall Salto del Paine. You can also come into close contact with the Patagonian flora and fauna, including “guanacos,” “ñandus,” and foxes, as well as the Andean condor. The tour ends at Lake Grey, where you can observe icebergs floating in the lake after crossing a swinging bridge.
The tour also includes a visit to the Milodon Cave Natural Monument.
Price per person from 25,000 CLP. Includes transfer and bilingual guide. Does not include food or entrance fees to Torres del Paine National Park or the Milodon Cave.

2. GLACIERS CRUISES


2.1 Balmaceda and Serrano Glacier Tour:
This navigation of the Patagonian fjords is an unforgettable tour from Puerto Natales, not to be missed. The boat leaves at 8:00 from the Puerto Natales fiscal dock, navigating the Última Esperanze fjord until its destination in Bernardo O’Higgins National Park (Puerto Toro). In this park, you can appreciate stunning views of the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers.

2.2 Price per person from 58,000 CLP. Rates vary depending on season of the year and tour provider. Price listed reflects low season rate (April-September), with excursions only on weekends.
Includes park entrance fee and lunch. Does not include transport from lodge to the dock.

2.3 Río Serrano Tour. Torres del Paine is also accessible by sea, navigating the Rio Serrano in a zodiac. The navigation begins at Puerto Toro (Balmaceda Glacier), and after 2.5 thrilling hours sailing up the river, the zodiac arrives to Torres del Paine. Finally, a transfer van returns with guests to Puerto Natales.

2.4 Canal of the Mountians Tour. Available only during high season.

3. REGULAR TOUR CALAFATE - PERITO MOORENO


Being in Puerto Natales provides guests with the opportunity to visit El Calafate and the Perito Moreno Glacier, the icon of Argentine Patagonia. The tour can be exhausting given the distance from Puerto Natales to El Calafate (350 kilometers), but we believe the experience definitely makes the effort worthwhile.

4. TREKKING TOURS TORRES DEL PAINE


"The W" is considered one of the most important trekking circuits in the world, and with this in mind, for guests who wish to experience a full day of intense hiking in the park, we have incorporated flexible activities at a moderate level of difficulty. All trekking tours must be reserved with one month of anticipation.

We leave the lodge very early in the morning, and after an hour and a half’s drive, we arrive at Torres del Paine National Park.

There are 3 options for trekking:

BASE OF THE TORRES DEL PAINE
Along the hike, one can admire the slopes of Mount Almirante Nieto ( …. mts.), marvel at the views of the Ascencio Valley, cross a beautiful lenga forest, and afterward ascend a glacial moraine 150 meters to reach the base of the Torres del Paine, beholding the three granite giants from a privileged vantage point.

VALLE DEL FRANCES
Inside Torres del Paine, requiring a crossing of Lake Pehoe in catamaran, admiring the Cuernos del Paine along the way. After a 2.5 hour hike, you arrive at Campamento Italiano, where you can watch ice avalanches on the inner face of the mighty Mount Paine Grande.

GLACIAR GREY
Also necessary to cross Lake Pehoe. After a 3 hour hike along the eastern shore of Lake Grey, you can appreciate the Grey Glacier from close range, admiring the ancient ice and its various bluish hues.
