Weskar

We are a small Lodge located in the seacoast of Puerto Natales City, only 1200 meters from downtown. You can easily walk to the city center by a beautiful coastal road, which is the habitat of black-necked swans and wild ducks.

When we designed the Lodge we thought in a charming place with a family atmosphere, where travelers from different parts of the world could find a resting place, amazing views and also delicious food. We called it Weskar, which means “hill” in Kawesqar dialect, a native canoer ethnic group from the chilean patagonian fjords. The lodge’s location in this hill and its closeness to the sea allows us to have a privileged view of the fjords and mountains.

Weskar was built with Lenga wood, which is a native tree from this region. The walls are decorated with grandma’s handmade wool weaves, and pictures that we’ve taken along the years trying to show the beauty of our destination and also the amazing views of our Lodge.
